A Glance Forward & Backward

So, I suppose while I sit at work I will update this thing. There for a while I wasn't updating it at ALL because I felt like such a loser since I had ZERO followers.. Haha. Who am I going to update? Myself? But since now I have like 3 friends (THANK YOU!) I'll try to stay ontop of what's going on with us!

Christmas was really good this year. This was our first Christmas without our Grandma Hazel and Grandpa Alton, My Grandma passed away the 2nd of April and we lost Scott's Grandpa the very next day, so it wasn't exactly the same... We tried to keep our heads up and enjoy what we could. We had X-Mas Eve dinner with Scott's family and my Mom and Dad (and Diesel) in American Falls at my Dads. It was one of only a handful of times both our families have been together, so it was nice to sit and visit and exchange gifts. Christmas Day is always wild, running around from city to city making sure we see everyone. We spent half the day in Poky and the rest in McCammon. We all got spoiled, like usual. It's so nice to be able to spend the holidays with our families. We are super blessed everyone lives so close together.

January so far has been pretty mellow, I am still in awe that it is the 27th already! Where has the time gone? I've started school again and so far it is a simple semester. Some big news for me..... I FINALLY applied for the Health Ed Program! I cannot wait to hear back, I've been beating around the bush and finally got the motivation I needed! Scott is very slowly getting back to work. The construction business as of now, is not booming- weather/economy. so, we are keeping our fingers crossed that the State releases some much needed road reapair bids so Scott can stay busy. He has taken a few weeks off and it has been super fun hanging out with him ALL THE TIME. I'm ready, as much as he is, for him to get back to the busy work of life!

We took Diesel Dog to the vet for a yr check up and he weighs in at 80lbs! Haha. He's a beast! He is so much fun though, I feel so whookee talking about my dog like a kid, but he really is! I haven't exactly mastered the adding pictures thing, so when I get a chance I'll post new ones of him and Scott and I. I guess that's all I've got for now!
