Spring...?

According to the calendar, it's suppose to be spring... Could have fooled me! I woke up yesterday to 5 inches of snow. I almost died! I had all these plans for being outside, and instead that turned into shoveling! Diesel love loves the snow, he's such a cool weather dog. He literally throws himself into piles and just rolls around. You can hardly shovel b/c he's right in front of you eating what he can before you throw it! He's so funny...

It's also my spring break; no big plans this year! One of my professors was so kind and made a 5 page research paper due the day we come back. Special, right?! So I've just been working at the shoppe and doing a little homework. I was thinking back to the last time I really went somewhere on spring break and it has been Five Years! My dads side of the family took a trip to the Grand Canyon in 2004. I can't believe it's been that long. I loved that trip; my Dad and I took a helicopter into the Canyon. What an Amazing sight.

Almost 2 weeks ago Scott and I took a little trip with our friends to West Yellowstone for a snow expo there. We left early Saturday morning and stayed over. We had so much fun. It was a much needed gettaway with some good friends of ours. We got to meet some pro snowmobilers (from Octane Addictions/SledNX, if anyone knows what that is) and they autographed a sled we bought from them. The weather was perfect Saturday, but we woke up to a blizzard Sunday and had to drive home in it. Luckily, the farther we got into Idaho, the weather cleared up. Here's a few pictures......

Just a quick update on Scott's hand; it is healing up nicely! Thank God. He is so lucky. He thinks it's no big deal, but I was real worried he wouldn't have any movement/feeling in it. He had to go the the plastic surgeon one more time and we won't have to go back until the nail grow in (7-8 months) to make sure everything is okay. He also went to the therapist for range of motion, it's not 100% but he'll be able to function normally. All in all, things turned out pretty good I think!
I think that's it for now! Happy Spring, maybe!
