Slacker city

I have not been on in SO long!!

Well, a very quick update:
  • We have been in our home since February and we love it. I really had to get use to the drive, but I almost don't even pay attention to it now.
  • I have approximately 3 weeks of Spring 2012 left. Which means--I have 3 credits left and I am outta here.. Well not really
  • I am the new Administrative Assistant for the Health Education and Promotion Program. So technically, I'm not going anywhere at all! I love my new job. It really has been such a blessing at a time when we needed it most. I have been very worried about the economy and the prospects of a job (or not). So now, really, I am set. I don't have to worry about looking in 6 months.
  • I am starting my Master's of Health Education in January! Very nervous... But I know I can do it. I've been here long enough and I know the system and I have some very interesting research project ideas that I think will do great.
  • Because of my new job, Scott is able to go to school at a discounted tuition rate as well as myself, so I think he's going to start school possibly the Fall 12 semester in something like Civil Engineering or Construction Management. He's very excited. And I'm excited that he's so excited. For those of you who don't know Scott, the kid is a whizz. A real genius I tell ya. And I'm not just saying that because he's my almost husband. I think this will really give him and "in" at JBP and show them the level of his dedication.
  • As the countdown below says--50 days!! Holy crap! Are you kidding me? Where in the world has the time gone?? Oh yeah, school, work, homework, house.... :) I am stressed to the max and very thrilled for the day to be here. Things are great and Scott is an excellent help surprisingly! He has really gotten into the brunt of things and really made this planning a me and him thing. Which has been extra helpful. I wish businesses that we've contacted would work the same way. Good knight...

Well friends, I know it was quick, but I am heading to class!
Enjoy the semi-decent weather!

Until next time
-M
