Twenty Seven & Twenty Eight

Scott and I both celebrate our birthday a couple weeks ago. I can't believe I am now 'upper 20's'. When in the world did that happen?? Not to mention Scott is having his 10 year high school reunion in the next couple weeks. Has it honestly been almost 10 years I've been out of high school!? Sickening!

I decided I wasn't going to work on my birthday, and it just so happened my mom had the day off. Ryker, myself, and my mom drove to Downey to put Memorial Day flowers on my grandparents and stop at Brady's Plant Ranch and get some other flowers for our houses. The day was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for a better day to go to the cemetery and clean up the headstone. It was the first time Ryker has ever been to the Downey cemetery.

After we got back into town, my Dad came up to see me and Ryker.

Since Scott and I have birthday's so close together, we decided we would go to Mackenzie River and have dinner.

Not amused :)

Trying to get some of our carrot cake
So on the way home, I always take the old road, I'm just driving down Hawthorne and I can see a vehicle stopped on the side of the road. I'm curious as to what they are looking at since it's all fields out there so I started looking around - I remember thinking, what the hell are they.. Holy hell!! Well, this tornado is what caught their attention!!

Once Ryker and I made it home safely, we enjoyed the rest of our night on the porch till it was time to come inside and get ready for bed.

I guess year number twenty seven won't be so bad after all.
