My very best friend in the whole entire world had a birthday Tuesday, I didn't forget with my last post, I just wanted to give him one of his own.

Scott and I are 5 days apart, he turned 23 years old on the 26th.

So Happy Birthday Love, I hope you had a good day;

even though you had to work, Grandma was in the hospital,

and I was gone. I look forward to having 80

more birthdays with you and reminding

you I'm still younger :]

TaYLoR sWiFt

Me & 3 of my fabulous girl friends went and saw Taylor Swift yesterday in SLC!! It was SUCH a blast, the girl can put on an AMAZING show!! Kellie Pickler was suppose to do one of the opening acts, but got sick, so Gloriana opend for her. They sing 'Wild at Heart' (sooo good). They were awesome as well. The show was 3 1/2 hours and totally worth it. I would see her again. Here are a couple of photos; the ones of Taylor are a little blury...

Also, on a not nearly as happy note.. I spent the first half of the day yesterday in the ICU with my Grandma Honey-she had a mild heart attack. It was really upsetting (obviously) seeing her hooked up to random cords and listening to the doctors talk about the damage to her heart. She is in good spirits today, talking and laughing (she wanted to know if her hair looked okay), so we are hoping for a fast recovery. I couldn't handle losing my only grandparent.

This Day in History

On this day in 1987, Sandy and Mark Christensen brought into this world a brand new baby girl.....

Thanks Mom and Dad, I owe you one :]

Today I turn 22, where has the time gone? Honestly, I can remember b-day parties with

clowns, lots and lots of friends, cake/ice cream, the works. Birthdays aren't nearly

as much fun now. My next milestone...... 30? Ew. My Mom, Dad, Grandma Honey, Scott

and I are going to IF tonight to eat at the Olive Garden (my FAV) and go to the

Titanic exhibit. A pretty simple, easy going day- for a pretty simple, easy going gal.

A Late Mother's Day Wish

It's a few days late, but I just wanted to wish my mom another Happy Mother's Day. I am bias, since she is my Mother, but I think I have the greatest Mom ever. There isn't a time I can't think of that she wasn't there for whatever it was I was doing that day; dance pictures/competitions/recitals/practice (the list could go on and on for dance), every soccer game, pagent and what have you. If I said walk, she would run to whatever it was I had going. If I grow up to be half the mother she is, I'd say I'll be in a pretty good spot. A few things my mom has taught me over the years:
1. Pick your nose and it will get stuck up there.
2. You keep pulling that face and it will be a face only a mother could love.
3. Because I'm the mommy, that's why.
4. You better shut your mouth and eat those beans.
5. I'm going to knock you into next week if you keep that up.
6. If you break your neck, your not coming to the store with me.
7. Stick your tongue out one more time, and I'll cut it off.
8. Don't make me pull out the wooden spoon.
9. Keep crying and I'll give you something to cry about.
And finally, my favorite......
10. I love you to the moon and back.
How she kept her sanity over these last 22 years is beyond me. I wasn't the easiest of kids to raise, that's probably why I'm the only one, and I had a lot going as a kid, but she has taught me everything I know. Not everyone can say they have a relationship with their mother like I have with mine. I'm so blessed Heavenly Father picked her to raise me. She is my best friend and my hero. Happy (Late) Mother's Day Mommy, I love you.

I'm finished

I had to write and brag a little today, I finished my last final today!! Oh, what a relief! I didn't have anything over the top difficult this semester, thank goodness, but it's still a lot of stress. And most of the time, I can become somewhat of a hag! Scott was smart and headed to St. Anthony to do some 4 wheeler riding on Saturday, so I was looking forward to getting lots done... Basically I got nothing done, my aunt came up from Twin to visit! So that made it even worse and added to the already built up stress. I'm amazed at how thesmallest of things can bother you when you are under a TON of stress. And this weekend wasn't my finest. I'm so lucky I have Scott to help me through things, he's so level headed and rarely shows his flaws.

We've decided to make BIG life change for ourselves, to better us as individuals and as a couple. I'm looking forward to removing the negative things in our life and replacing them with something better, something more fulfilling. Don't ask me just yet what those things are though :] I can't help but remember things I was taught in Primary that I've known, but never paid attention to until I really needed it, pick your friends wisely! Scott and I go through these vaule changes often, our needs and desires change, and we re-evaluate whats around us. It's hard to let go sometimes, but it's for the better. We will be better because of it. So to you, good riddens.

Good luck to those of you who are taking finals! It's just one step closed to summer vaca!! (Now we just need some good weather!)
